Connexions prepares to go mobile Rice University's open-education initiative Connexions is going global and mobile. Those twin themes dominated the sessions this week at Connexions Conference 2010 in Duncan Hall. Highlights included a demonstration of an upcoming iPhone application that will allow students to insert notes -- either written or audio -- directly into their Connexions materials in much the same way they might write in the margins or highlight text in a paper book. Students will also be able to cut and paste sections of text into e-mails or onto their Facebook pages for discussions.
